Join for Joy started in 2011 with the first Kick-off camps in Kenya, in the rural area Thika, just North of Nairobi. After six years of successful cooperation with 18 schools and our local partner Macheo, the camps have developed into the Sports and Play program as it is today. In April 2017 the first Train the trainer course took place, and was very successful. In the coming two years, all participating schools will receive the Train the trainer course. From 2020 onwards, the participating schools are expected to independently and structurally offer their students physical exercise at school.
