With playful education, we are breaking the vicious cycle of poverty in East Africa.
Children face significant challenges daily in the rural areas of Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and Zambia, such as sexual and domestic violence, child labor, (contagious) diseases, forced marriage, teenage pregnancy, and gender inequality. Many of these children do not attend school or drop out of school early.
“Education is the best weapon which you can use to change the world.”
– Nelson Mandela
Education is crucial to break the generational cycle of poverty and gender inequality. Join for Joy contributes to improving the living conditions of vulnerable children in these areas by playfully stimulating quality education, gender equality, physical health, and social resilience.
